Acne Mechanica
Acne Mechanica is a form of acne seen in athletes which is a result of friction, heat and sweating. This skin irritation appears in tight areas that contain a lot of moisture: shoulders, back and head. Shoulder pads or helmets cause a lot of heat and moisture on the skin, a perfect place for bacterias. The skin gets irritated leaving some type of acne.Wear clean t-shirts, made out of cotton while doing work that involves sweating. Afterwards, clean the areas that were affected by sweat in order to prevent acne mechanica from appearing.
